Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress who is known for her roles in the movies 'Beta,"Saajan," and 'Hum Aapke Hai Koun'. ..!' The actress began her career in the 1980s and came to popularity with her performance in the movie 'Tezaab', where she starred with veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the movie 'Dil she appeared with Aamir Khan. She was born to a Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing at an early age. She tried her hand at acting as a teenager but it wasn't easy. Many of her early film projects failed. However, she eventually became successful and was one of the top actresses in Indian film. After her wedding she took a short time to relax from acting before returning to the entertainment field. She also played a crucial part in the film "Gulaab Gang," that focused on the struggles of women from India. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of these awards she took home. She also received the Padma Shri (the fourth highest civilian award in India). Her social work is another something to be proud of.
