Actor and country-pop singer and songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the crew on One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. Her first few releases as a country singer were featured on episodes of the show that helped her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. Her decade was rounded out by performances on Dancing with the Stars. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised in the area, discovered her love for country music. Later she would pursue an acting career. But her first role as a actress in the film Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was a teenager. After appearing as a guest on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. The actress had signed an agreement with Elektra Records, and she released her modern country-inspired track I Won't Give Up on a One Tree Hill 2011 episode. The track was later featured on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in the middle of 2012. The track made it to into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She focused on her musical career without quitting acting, she acted in movies which enticed her fans, like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. In October of 2015, Kramer released Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith helped the album to get even better reviews which saw it reach the top three position at the top of the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months during the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season, she finished in fourth place. She also scored an adult contemporary smash in the form of Feels like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
